Description: On November 6, 2020, plaintiff was lawfully within Elmhurst Hospital Center, 79-01 Broadway, Queens, NY, visiting his grandfather, a patient in the ICU. Plaintiff entered the lobby and proceeded to the elevators. While waiting for the elevator, plaintiff was approached by defendant, who demanded plaintiff show a visitor's pass. Plaintiff informed defendant no one was present at the reception desk or the lobby and no one told him he needed a pass. Defendant began harassing plaintiff, called him a name, and used unnecessarily hostile language. While plaintiff was speaking with the first officer, a second officer, suddenly grabbed plaintiff from behind, by the neck, and placed him in a choke hold. Defendant office...
