Description: On July 31, 2020, plaintiff was at New York Renal Associates at 3468 Park Avenue, Bronx, to receive his dialysis treatment. Before the treatment plaintiff had a few questions about the procedure, yet the manager at the facility, annoyed by plaintiff's valid concerns, disparaged plaintiff and refused to address plaintiff's concerns. The facility then refused to treat plaintiff, claiming that they don't treat patients with low levels of hemoglobin and that plaintiff would be transported to another hospital. Plaintiff then refused to go to another hospital and wanted to go home instead, yet plaintiff, who was physically weak, was then seized by defendant police officers and handcuffed.
