Description: On February 17, 2023, Dwayne Wilson was arrested by NYPD Officer Alexandra Alcocer at the Intervale Avenue train station in the Bronx and taken into custody. He was transported to Transit Bureau District 12 and placed in a cell. While under the care of the City of New York, Wilson was assaulted by a fellow prisoner, "John Roe," resulting in severe and permanent injuries, including facial injuries and emotional distress. The complaint alleges that the City of New York and its employees failed to protect Wilson from the known violent tendencies of "John Roe" and neglected to take proper precautions.
