Description: On January 9, 2019, Plaintiff Reilly Custodio was lawfully at his place of employment, Gamestop, when Defendant Officer Griesinger presented Plaintiff with a used gaming console and asked to exchange it for cash or store credit. Plaintiff accepted the console and several NYPD officer's then swarmed Plaintiffs Gamestop and falsely accused him of accepting and possessing stolen goods. Plaintiff was then arrested by the Defendant Officers Cassells and Griesinger without probable cause and detained at the 45th Precinct, for approximately 24 hours.
