Description: On or about June 24, 2012, at approximately 8:00PM, Plaintiffs were walking home from the Gay Pride Parade in the vicinity of Washington and Christopher Streets in Manhattan. Plaintiffs and others were waiting behind a police barrier to cross the street. Plaintiffs were given permission by a police officer to cross the street, when without warning, an officer tackled Plaintiffs to the ground and forcibly arrested Plaintiffs, despite Plaintiffs not resisting. Plaintiffs were falsely accused of obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arresting. While in custody, one of the Plaintiffs requested medical attention, where he was treated at Bellevue Hospital for his injuries, which included bruises to...
