Description: On September 28, 2022, around 6:00 P.M., plaintiff Medhat Mohamed was inside a subway station when he was searched, battered assaulted, and arrested. Plaintiff was in the vicinity of 14th Street and Union Square. Plaintiff was placed in tight handcuffs which were not loosened, and Plaintiff was not made aware of what he allegedly did wrong. Plaintiff was taken to a Precinct and then to Central Booking. Plaintiff was caused to suffer myriad of psychological injuries which are believed to be permanent. Plaintiff was targeted because of his Middle Eastern decent and would have not have been penalized otherwise.
