Description: On January 31, 2018, Defendants, including Yeraldy Bonifacio, Michael Dappolonia, Jose Torribio, and Amanda Knapp, stopped Plaintiff Edward Guillen who was driving his motor vehicle and obeying all laws. Defendants approached Plaintiff's vehicle and ordered him to step out of his vehicle without any legal basis or justification for doing so. Defendants proceeded to illegally search Plaintiff's person and vehicle. Defendants then falsely claimed that an illicit air pistol was recovered by Defendant Bonifacio from within a backpack behind the driver's seat of Plaintiff's vehicle that resembled a real firearm; however, this item was not illegal in any way.
