Description: On December 5, 2011, at the vicinity of Lindsay Park in Brooklyn, the defendant officers Yanez and Cameron, forcefully handcuffed, searched, and arrested the plaintiff, without a valid arrest or search warrant. The defendant officers falsely accused the plaintiff of having committed a crime and commenced criminal action. The plaintiff was also assaulted under custody, resulting in permanent bodily injuries. The plaintiff remained unlawfully detained for a period of 5 years and 7 months. All of plaintiff's charges were eventually terminated on May 23, 2018.
