On December 3, 2000, [redacted] and her [redacted]-old daughter, [redacted] had an argument, after which [redacted] went to sleep at a friend's house and stayed for a couple of nights. [redacted] knew where her daughter was and figured she would see her Monday morning because she and [redacted] father had an appointment with the school guidance counselor.
A few days later, the mother of [redacted] friend, who is a [redacted] confronted [redacted] at a bowling alley and accused her of kicking [redacted] out of the house. [redacted] informed the woman that the girls had been skipping school all week. The woman must have called the police because on December 8, 2000, Lt. Tolentino, from the 115 Precinct called [redacted] and asked her if she knew where [redacted] was. [redacted] told him that her daughter was on her way home. Lt. Tolentino told her that she didn't even know where she was because he had her right there at the precinct. He told her that a report had been made stating that she had thrown [redacted] out. Lt. Tolentino told her to come and pick her daughter up. [redacted] stated that she was cooking and that her other child was in the shower and she didn't want to leave her alone.
Lt. Tolentino accused her of being a drug addict and said that he wouldn't send [redacted] back to "that hell hole." He then asked if she would let [redacted] in, if patrol officers brought her home and [redacted] said she would. A report was taken and Lt. Tolentino told her that the case would be referred to ACS. On December 10, 2000, [redacted] got into an argument with her parents, during which she bit her father, [redacted] and left the house. Lt. Tolentino called [redacted] and told her that [redacted] had been taken to a hospital. [redacted] went to the precinct, to pick [redacted] up.
The next day, Det. Matthew Fraher called [redacted] and asked her to come down to the precinct. When she arrived, Det. Fraher asked her to go with him inside a waiting room. Det. Fraher put a Miranda warning on the table. [redacted]...
