On April 23, 2003 at approximately 5:00PM, [redacted] and [redacted] were running track in Prospect Park. Three uniformed officers in a marked jeep stopped the boys and ordered [redacted] and [redacted] to get down. According to [redacted] and [redacted] officers threatened to shoot them if they did not get down fast enough. One of the officers, a female, pointed her gun at [redacted]. The boys were instructed to stand up, and a senior officer informed them that they were stopped because the officers thought they were engaging in criminal activity.
