On August 4, 2003, [redacted] brother, [redacted] was driving on 37th Avenue near 78th Street with his [redacted] old when they came upon a stopped NYPD truck driven by Officer Dennis Johnson. Officers Brian Larkin, Marc Burgos, and Dennis Friendly were nearby, picking up barriers after a parade. As [redacted] tried to pass the truck, he pinned Officer Friendly between the NYPD truck and his vehicle. In response, Officer Friendly slammed his hands on the hood of [redacted]'s vehicle and then slapped [redacted] on his forehead. [redacted] exited the car and cursed at Officer Friendly for hitting a "minor."
After a few moments, his brother ordered him back in the car and they started to drive away. Officer Brian Larkin stopped [redacted]'s car within a block of the incident and issued numerous summonses. An ambulance also responded to treat Officer Friendly. [redacted]
