[redacted] stated that her [redacted] son, [redacted] called her at approximately 4:00p.m. and informed her that officers issued him a summons for [redacted] on [redacted] in Brooklyn. When [redacted] arrived at the scene, she approached a group of five officers and asked them what was going on. The officers did not answer [redacted] and she proceeded to take their names down. [redacted] obtained the names and badge numbers of PO Rodriguez, PO Oliveri, PO Walker and PO Dawes but was only able to obtain PO Vantull's name and not his shield number. [redacted] explained that PO Vantull had a mourning band around his badge and when she asked him for his shield number, PO Vantull replied, "In what world do you have that right?"
