On May 4, 2006 at around 8AM, [redacted] was in her apartment, in [redacted] in the Bronx, along with her nephew [redacted] who was sleeping in a rear bedroom. [redacted] suddenly noticed officers under the supervision of Cpt. Dermot Shea of Bronx Narcotics in her apartment (allegation A). An officer pointed a gun at [redacted] telling her to shut up. [redacted] was thrown on the floor and handcuffed, then brought to a dining area. Officers moved to the back of the apartment. [redacted] was in the bedroom when an officer came in pointing his gun at [redacted] was then thrown to the ground and handcuffed. He was also taken to the dining area as officers searched the apartment. Lt. Christopher Fasano of Bronx Narcotics spoke to [redacted] asking her if there was any contraband or weapons in the apartment. [redacted] alleged that Lt. Fasano also stated that if she did not tell officers where the drugs were they would take away her children (allegation B). Lt. Fasano gave [redacted] a copy of the warrant to sign, and after some more minutes of searching unsuccessfully officers left the apartment. Read report for details.
