On July 17, 2014, at approximately 6:15 a.m., [redacted] and [redacted] were both in bed on the second floor of [redacted]'s home located at [redacted] in Queens. Both individuals stated that they both heard a loud boom from the first floor and were approached by officers wearing masks and shields (Allegation A). [redacted] was able to identify from the officers' shirts that they were from Queens Gang. Both individuals were then escorted to the living room by the officers. [redacted] also stated that a man named [redacted] that lives in her basement was placed in the living room as well. [redacted] stated that marijuana was located inside the location but she was unsure if guns or drugs were located there. [redacted] and [redacted] were then escorted out of the location and arrested. At the 103rd Precinct stationhouse, [redacted] was provided a copy of search warrant number [redacted].
Later the same day, at approximately 8 a.m., [redacted]'s son, [redacted] was informed by a neighbor via telephone that officers were at the house. [redacted] then travelled to [redacted] with his cousin [redacted]. According to [redacted], approximately two minutes after he arrived, an unmarked police vehicle pulled in front of his vehicle and three officers exited their vehicle. The investigation was able to identify two of these officers as PO Stephen Lalchan and Detective Kevin Desormeau of the Queens Gang Unit, but was unable to identify the third officer. [redacted] stated that the unidentified officer approached him as he stood outside his vehicle and PO Lalchan asked [redacted] to exit the vehicle (Allegation B, C and D).
