On April 22, 2015, at approximately 9:00 p.m., [redacted] was in his home, which is located on [redacted] in Brooklyn. [redacted] Is cousin and roommate, [redacted] arrived back at their home at that time as well, and was in the midst of a drug overdose. [redacted] called 911, and an ambulance arrived several minutes later. Six uniformed police officers arrived to accompany the ambulance. [redacted] waited in the hallway outside of his apartment with the officers while the EMTs worked on [redacted]. During that time, PO Joel Acevedo started joking around with the other officers, and stated, "You know what I do with junkies? I grab them by the head and slap them around.
