On May 12, 2015, at approximately 11:30 p.m., [redacted] was drinking alcohol and watching a basketball game on television inside of [redacted], in Brooklyn, NY, when he heard fighting outside involving his friend, [redacted] and [redacted]. When [redacted] went outside to see what was going on, [redacted] had been arrested and was led to an unmarked police vehicle by PO Matthew Demaio. [redacted] asked an officer standing in front of [redacted] why [redacted] was being arrested, but was ignored. [redacted] then walked over to PO Demaio, who was placing [redacted] into the vehicle. As [redacted] was approaching, an officer instructed him to "stay over there," pushing [redacted] away from PO Demaio. The same officer then pushed [redacted] into PO Noel Damico. PO Damico grabbed [redacted] and threw him to the ground (Allegation A). [redacted] suffered multiple facial abrasions as a result. PO Damico then handcuffed [redacted] with the help of another officer. [redacted] was transported to the 75th Precinct stationhouse, followed by [redacted], where [redacted] was treated for his injuries. [redacted] was charged with [redacted].
