On August 17, 2015, at approximately 3:20 p.m. [redacted] was arrested for assaulting his supervisor at work (BR1). When [redacted] was brought to the 101st Precinct stationhouse, he was at the front desk with Sgt. Timothy Brovakos of Patrol Borough Queens South, who made an entry into the 101st Precinct command log about [redacted]'s arrest (BR2). Sgt. Brovakos stated that he recognized [redacted] from a previous incident and asked [redacted] if he recalled that incident. [redacted] stated that he did not recall Sgt. Brovakos from that incident and asked Sgt. Brovakos for his name. Sgt. Brovakos allegedly refused to provide his name and covered his shield with his hand, preventing [redacted] from reading the shield number (Allegation A). [redacted] never obtained Sgt.
