Summary

On September 1, 2015, at approximately 11:00 a.m., [redacted] was interviewed at the 114th Precinct Stationhouse by Detective Joseph Grinder of the 114th Detective Squad, in regards to a complaint [redacted] filed of unauthorized charges on his credit card (Board review 1). Det Grinder allegedly made various remarks using the words "you people," which [redacted] believed to be in reference to his sexual orientation (Allegation A). Det Grinder also allegedly informed [redacted] that if he found surveillance footage documenting [redacted] using the ATM machine where he claimed an unauthorized withdrawal was made, [redacted] would be arrested (Allegation B).
