Summary

On September 19, 2015, at approximately 4:31 a.m., [redacted] was driving when she was stopped [redacted] in Brooklyn by PO Patrick Burnett and PO Carlos Colon, of the 79th Precinct, after she ran a red traffic light. An officer allegedly used the word "fuck" while addressing [redacted] and her cousin, [redacted] (Allegation A) During the course of the car stop, [redacted] was determined to have an open warrant and was arrested. While being arrested, officers allegedly told [redacted] "Calm down, get in the backseat, you'll be all right, faggot." (Allegation B) PO Burnett got into the backseat with [redacted] and allegedly called her a "stupid black bitch" and a "dirty black bitch," (Allegations C and D) and then punched [redacted] in the face (Allegation E). PO Burnett allegedly grabbed the back of [redacted] Is neck and choked her (Allegation F and G), while continuing to punch her (Allegation E, cont.), at which point [redacted] bit PO Burnett's arm.
