Further details on conclusions.
On September 20, 2015, at approximately 12:38 a.m., [redacted] was involved in a vehicle accident at East 222nd Street and Boston Road in the Bronx. He contacted 911 and two officers identified by the investigation as PO Jared Faber and PO Darryn Thompson of the 47th Precinct arrived at the location. During [redacted]'s interaction with the officers, he explained to the officers that he did not want his car towed and he believed that he could move it. PO Faber explained to [redacted] that, given the circumstances, the car had to be towed according to the NYPD's Directed Accident Response Program (DARP). [redacted] argued with the officers that he had his own tow company that he wanted to use. During the interaction, PO Faber allegedly told [redacted] "Move away from my fucking door. Move away before I fucking arrest you." (Allegations A and B) [redacted]'s vehicle was eventually towed from the location. Read report for details.
