On November 25, 2015, at approximately 9:07 p.m. in the vicinity of 33rd Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan, [redacted] was part of the Black Lives Matter protest and was marching with a large group of people. When [redacted] and the other protestors turned the corner on 33rd Street, PO Declan Ludington of SRG-2 commanded [redacted] to get off the street and onto the sidewalk. [redacted] responded by telling PO Ludington to stop pushing the protestors. PO Ludington proceeded to bring [redacted] to the ground, by allegedly throwing [redacted] down to the ground (Allegation A). The left side of [redacted] head allegedly made contact with the ground and resulted in head and neck injuries. Once on the ground, [redacted] was handcuffed and transported to the 7th Precinct stationhouse. [redacted] was subsequently released with a summons for failing to disperse. Read report for details.
