On January 22, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m., PO Dana Ladson and PO Nelson Reyes, of the 73rd Precinct Anti-Crime Team, were patrolling in the vicinity of [redacted] in Brooklyn when they observed [redacted] with an unleashed pit-bull. PO Ladson and PO Reyes approached [redacted] while remaining inside of the police RMP and PO Ladson requested his ID (Allegation A). [redacted] asked PO Ladson for his name and shield number and PO Ladson allegedly refused (Allegation B). PO Ladson went back inside of the RMP and returned with a summons for an unlicensed dog and handed it to [redacted]. [redacted] complained about the summons.
