On February 28, 2016, at approximately 12:25 PM, [redacted] was involved in a physical altercation with [redacted], a tenant of a residence that [redacted] owns, located at [redacted], in Queens. During the altercation, [redacted] struck the back of his head on the ground. Both [redacted] and [redacted] girlfriend, called 911. PO Steven Campisi and PO William Lynch of the 105th Precinct responded. After a brief investigation, which revealed that [redacted] had sustained a laceration to the lip, PO Campisi arrested [redacted]. PO Campisi and PO Lynch transported [redacted] to the 105th Precinct stationhouse. En route, [redacted] began to experience pain to the back of his head, and he allegedly asked the officers to obtain medical treatment for him. At the stationhouse, the arrest was assigned to PO Nicholas Pica of the 105th Precinct, and PO Campisi and PO Lynch resumed patrol. In the holding cell area, [redacted] allegedly asked PO Pica to obtain medical treatment for him. Ultimately, [redacted] was released with a Desk Appearance Ticket.
