On October 29, 2016, [redacted] was at court in Queens with her [redacted]-old son, [redacted]. At approximately 5:00 p.m., she received a phone call from a member of the NYPD instructing her to go to the corner of Schenck Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. [redacted] took the subway back to Brooklyn and arrived there an hour and a half later. When she arrived, she saw her son's girlfriend, [redacted] and [redacted] Is mother, [redacted]. The two police officers on scene, later identified as PO Akil Guy and PO Horacio Delgado of the 75th Precinct, questioned [redacted] about guns in her home (Allegations A and B). PO Guy told [redacted] that he needed to search her home for guns; asked her to sign a form; informed her that she would be arrested for refusing to sign this form; and, at some point, threatened to handcuff her (Allegation C). [redacted] never saw this form and never agreed to sign anything.
[redacted] called her daughter, [redacted] for advice. [redacted] stated that PO Guy told her to hang up the phone and grabbed the phone out of her hands when she refused to comply (Allegation D). PO Guy spoke to [redacted] on the phone. [redacted] asked PO Guy for his name and shield number, but he refused to provide it (Allegation E). He ended the call and deleted the call history from [redacted]s phone (Allegation F). [redacted] began to feel ill and asked PO Guy to call an ambulance for her three times. Each time, he ignored her requests (Allegation G). The incident concluded when the officers told [redacted] that they were leaving with [redacted] and that she was free to leave.
