On September 23, 2017 at approximately 4:30AM, [redacted] was gambling with friends and several members of her family outside of 211 Malcolm X Boulevard in Brooklyn. Lieutenant Shibu Madhu, Sergeant Matthew Glynn, Police Officer Darrell Shannon, and Police Officer Gerald Dwyer, all of the 81st Precinct, arrived to the scene. Lt. Madhu approached [redacted] and allegedly bent her fingers backwards in order to get the money from her hand (Allegation A: Force: [redacted] Lt.
