On July 27, 2018, at approximately 3pm, PO Marcos Oviedo, from the 66th Precinct, arrested [redacted] for [redacted] and transported him to the 66th Precinct stationhouse. [redacted] allegedly asked PO Oviedo to either call an ambulance or take him home to retrieve his medication. PO Oviedo did not call an ambulance for [redacted] (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
PO Oviedo released [redacted] with a desk appearance ticket and escorted him outside of the stationhouse. [redacted] attempted to re-enter the stationhouse to call a car service. PO Oviedo allegedly told him, "You can't go in and if you try to go in, I'm going to arrest you" (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). [redacted] again asked PO Oviedo to call him an ambulance as he was unable to take his medication, but PO Oviedo allegedly refused (Allegation C: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
