Summary

On August 12, 2018, Sgt. Ryan Kenny, PO Ryan Paul along with other officers of the 106th Precinct responded to a 911 call placed by [redacted]'s mother, [redacted] regarding her son behaving violently at their house at [redacted] in Queens. Sgt. Kenny made a decision to remove [redacted] to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Sgt. Kenny allegedly frisked [redacted] and said to him, "Shut the fuck up wise ass," (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]; Allegation C: Discourtesy, [redacted]). Sgt. Kenny then took [redacted] to the ground and punched him a disputed number of times (Allegations D and E: Force, [redacted]). Unidentified officers also allegedly kicked [redacted] in his ribcage (Allegation F: Force [redacted]).
