On an unknown date in September 2018 after September 11, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., [redacted] was reversing his car into an angle parking space on East 102nd Street between Seaview Avenue and Shore Parkway in Brooklyn when Police Officer Jonathan Taveras of the 69th Precinct and three unidentified officers stopped their police vehicle in front of [redacted] car, thus blocking his exit (Allegation A – Abuse of Authority: Vehicle Stop, [redacted] Allegation B – Abuse of Authority: Vehicle Stop, [redacted]). One of the unidentified officers asked [redacted] who was in the car, and [redacted] said his children, [redacted] and [redacted] were in the car. [redacted] opened the rear door and showed the officers his children. The officers then left without effecting any arrests or issuing any summonses.
On an unknown date in September 2018, approximately one week after the first encounter, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Police Officer Taveras and an unidentified officer pulled over [redacted] at the intersection of East 102nd Street and Seaview Avenue in Brooklyn (Allegation C – Abuse of Authority: Vehicle Stop, [redacted]; Allegation D – Abuse of Authority: Vehicle Stop, [redacted]).
