Summary

On February 9, 2019, at approximately 12:55 a.m. in the vicinity of 116th Avenue and 197th Street in Queens, [redacted] was pulled over by PO Hector Rodriguez and PO Matthew Powers of the 113th Precinct for failing to stop at a stop sign. PO Rodriguez and PO Powers asked [redacted] for his license and registration. [redacted] provided a Fraternal Order of Police member card in addition to the requested documents. The Fraternal Order of Police membership card was issued to [redacted] by his cousin, [redacted], who worked as a peace officer [redacted]. PO Rodriguez and PO Powers returned to their vehicle to write the summons (BR 01). PO Rodriguez returned and handed [redacted] the summons and informed him that he was not getting his Fraternal Order of Police membership card back (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority - Seizure of Property, [redacted]).
