On May 7, 2019, at approximately 7:40 a.m., [redacted] was in his home located at [redacted], in Brooklyn. Detective Christopher McGee and Detective Jared Pilkington of the Queens Warrant Squad came and knocked on his door. [redacted] initially refused to open his door for the two detectives, and they knocked harder and allegedly damaged the door (Allegations A and B – Abuse of Authority: [redacted]). When [redacted] was asked if he knew where his wife, [redacted] was, he said he did not know. At this point, one of the two detectives allegedly called him stupid from the other side of the door (Allegation C - Discourtesy: [redacted]). [redacted] eventually opened the door and spoke to the officers, who told them that they were looking for an individual with whom he had no relation. [redacted] told them that he had no relation with the person for whom they were looking, and the detectives left. Read report for details.
