Summary

On June 10, 2019, at approximately 1:30 a.m., PO Jason Santana and PO Edwin Martinez of the 46th Precinct went to [redacted] in the Bronx for a wellness check of an elderly woman, [redacted]. Since there was no response from within the apartment, PO Santana and PO Martinez approached the apartment via the fire escape. PO Martinez broke the latch on a window on the fire escape to [redacted]'s apartment (Allegations A-Abuse of Authority: [redacted]) and he and PO Santana entered [redacted]. [redacted] exited his bedroom and PO Santana and PO Martinez pointed their guns at him (Allegations D and E-Force: [redacted]).
