On June 17, 2019, at approximately 1:37 AM, PO Matthew Mellas and PO Curt Cunningham, of Highway Patrol 2, pulled over [redacted] in the vicinity of 4th Avenue and 18th Street in Brooklyn (Allegation A - Abuse of Authority - [redacted]) (Allegation B - Abuse of Authority - [redacted]). PO Mellas allegedly told [redacted] "Shut the fuck up and give me the license" (Allegation C - Discourtesy - [redacted]). PO Cunningham allegedly interfered with [redacted]s phone recording (Allegation D - Abuse of Authority - [redacted]). [redacted] was issued two summonses: [redacted] for failure to use designated lane (BR 01) and [redacted] for improper signal (BR 02).
