Summary

On March 23, 2019, at approximately 8:30 p.m., [redacted] and the father of her children, [redacted] were parked on the corner of [redacted] in Queens. Police Officers Nicholas Velotti and Michael McCarthy of the 101st Precinct, approached the vehicle and asked [redacted] and [redacted] to exit the vehicle while pointing guns at their faces (Allegations A and B: Force, [redacted]). [redacted] was immediately arrested. PO Velotti, PO Adam Gledhill, and PO Jay Poggi of the 101st Precinct, searched the vehicle (Allegations C, D, and E Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). PO McCarthy said "back the fuck up" to [redacted] (Allegation F: Discourtesy, [redacted]). PO Velotti said "get the fuck away from the car," to [redacted] (Allegation G: Discourtesy, [redacted]), while pulling [redacted] by her jacket and causing [redacted] to stumble (Allegation H: Force, [redacted]) and stated, "if you move one more time I am going to arrest you" (Allegations I: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
