Further details on conclusions.
On December 16, 2019, school counselors [redacted] in Brooklyn called 911 to have [redacted] who they determined to be an EDP, removed to the hospital. PO Adeola Seidigbamuse, PO Christian Mele, PO Keith Reusch, and PO Reginald Smith of the 71st Precinct responded to the school. Upon seeing the officers, [redacted] and [redacted] fled the school and officers perused them into the school playground. While PO Seidigbamuse placed [redacted] in handcuffs [redacted] struck the officers. PO Seidigbamuse slapped [redacted] in the face (Allegation A – Force: [redacted]). PO Mele and PO Reusch slammed [redacted] onto the ground (Allegations B and C – Force: [redacted]). Officers removed [redacted] and [redacted] to separate hospitals. PO Seidigbamuse accompanied [redacted] to the hospital. During the intake process [redacted] refused to remove her belongings and PO Seidigbamuse arched his taser to threaten [redacted] (Allegation D – Abuse of Authority: [redacted]).
Although both [redacted] and [redacted] were removed to the hospital as EDPs, a forcible removal allegation has not been pled as the students were minors and in the custody of [redacted] staff who made the decision, and because both [redacted]'s and [redacted]'s legal guardians stated that they were not upset about the decision to remove the students to the hospital.
