On February 22, 2020, at approximately 12:40 a.m., in the vicinity of [redacted] in Brooklyn, [redacted] got into a verbal dispute with an unidentified neighbor outside of his home. [redacted]'s brother, [redacted] was involved in the dispute, and another neighbor, [redacted] witnessed the incident. Both [redacted] and the unidentified neighbor called 911 and reported that the other had a weapon. Numerous officers from the 67th Precinct responded to the scene, including Police Officer Nicholas Cardieri. The officers separated the parties, and eventually it became clear that the incident would not result in any enforcement action.
