On April 18, 2020, at approximately 3:40 PM, Mr. R [redacted] was walking in the parking lot of Hope Gardens, a NYCHA development located at 330 Wilson Avenue in Brooklyn, and was stopped by Police Officer D S [redacted] Police Officer A [redacted] and Sgt. Julia Griffin of the 83rd Precinct (Allegations A, B, and C: Abuse of Authority, substantiated). As they approached Mr. R [redacted] PO S [redacted] and PO J [redacted] pointed their firearms at Mr. R [redacted] (Allegations D and E: Force, exonerated). As Sgt. Griffin handcuffed Mr. R [redacted] she said, "Don't you fucking move" (Allegation F – Discourtesy, substantiated). Additional officers arrived at the location including PO M [redacted] of the 83rd Precinct. PO S [redacted] Sgt. Griffin, and PO M [redacted] all frisked D R [redacted] before Sgt.
