On June 26, 2020, at 11:30 a.m., [redacted] and her home health aide, [redacted] entered Armani Exchange, located at 645 5th Avenue in Manhattan. [redacted] who uses a motorized wheelchair, removed her face mask and refused an employee's request for her to put it back on. The employee flagged down Police Officer Karriza Cruz and Police Officer Jerry Rivera, both of the Critical Response Command, who were posted near the store.
