Summary

On August 14, 2020, near the intersection of Broadway, State Street, and Battery Place in Manhattan, [redacted] and 20 to 30 other individuals engaged in a protest. At approximately 6:00 p.m., the group left the scene of the protest. The group crossed the street at the intersection of Broadway, State Street, and Battery Place, walking towards Battery Park. While they were passing through the crosswalk, an NYPD vehicle with its turret lights activated attempted to drive through the intersection. [redacted] and other individuals stood in front of the vehicle to prevent it from driving through the intersection. While [redacted] was standing in front of the car, Officer Anthony Buonomo pushed [redacted] from behind (Allegation A: Force, [redacted]).
