On March 27th, 2021, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Police Officer Kendrew Kwan, and Police Officer Halima Greene, both of the 66th Precinct, arrived at [redacted]s apartment, [redacted] in Brooklyn. PO Kwan and PO Greene responded to the location after receiving a 911 call from [redacted]s brother, [redacted] who requested a police escort to remove his belongings from [redacted]s apartment.
After [redacted] allowed [redacted] PO Kwan, and PO Greene to enter his apartment, [redacted]s mother, walked upstairs to the apartment. Upon seeing [redacted] became apprehensive and began to yell at her and PO Kwan pushed [redacted] allegedly nine to ten feet down his apartment's hallway (Allegation A: Force, [redacted]).
[redacted] then asked PO Kwan and PO Greene for their name and shield numbers. PO Kwan provided his last name and his shield number. However, PO Greene allegedly did not provide her name or shield number (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]) (Allegation C: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). PO Kwan and PO Greene then waited for [redacted] to finish gathering his belongings and proceeded to leave [redacted]s apartment.
A preponderance of the evidence suggests that PO Kwan provided a misleading official statement during his CCRB interview on May 20, 2021 (Allegation D: Untruthful Statement, [redacted]).
