On June 16, 2021, at approximately 12:53 AM, Lt. Timothy Brovakos of the 71st Precinct was on patrol with PO Christopher Rodriguez, PO Omar Delarosa, PO Mubbashar Zahid, and PO Steven Caraballo of the 71st Precinct. Outside of [redacted] in Brooklyn, Lt. Brovakos stopped and frisked an unidentified individual (Allegations A and B: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). At the same time, PO Rodriguez stopped and frisked a second unidentified individual (Allegations C and D: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Lt. Brovakos and his officers then entered the building's vestibule. There, Lt. Brovakos stopped and frisked [redacted] (Allegations E and F: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Lt. Brovakos also allegedly strip-searched [redacted] (Allegation G: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Additionally, inside the vestibule, PO Rodriguez stopped, frisked, and searched an unidentified individual (Allegations H, I, and J: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
