Summary

On October 8, 2021, at approximately 9:10 p.m., [redacted] attended a mutual aid event that took place at Washington Square Park in Manhattan. Lieutenant James Lee, Police Officer Darnell Rayford, and Police Officer Marcus Jenkins, all of Patrol Borough Manhattan South, were on patrol duty. Several civilians present at the mutual aid event were displeased with the police officers' presence and asked them to leave the park.
