On October 8, 2022, at approximately 10:19pm, officers from multiple commands responded to a call for a 10-13 (assist police officer) at Broadway and West 140th Street in Manhattan (BR 01). Police Officer Eduardo Martinez, Police Officer Matae Lee, Sergeant Miguele Amoresano, and additional officers from the 30th Precinct responded to the location. Sergeant Carlos Barahona from Patrol Borough Manhattan North Specialized Unit also responded to the location.
At Broadway and West 141st Street in Manhattan, officers told individuals, "Get the fuck out the block... Get the fuck out... You don't have a fucking home," "Everybody get the fuck home! Get the fuck off the block," and "So you guys wanna play that game? We could play that fucking game!" (Allegation A: Discourtesy, Unfounded).
