On March 29, 2023, at approximately 1:11 a.m., at the intersection of Mother Gaston Boulevard and Belmont Avenue in Brooklyn, officers stopped [redacted]'s vehicle as part of a vehicle safety checkpoint (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Sgt. Karl Hanisch, PO Melanie Obrien, PO Pedro Martinezgarcia, PO Tiery Samuels, PO Jeffery Koncelik, and PO Hernan Mendoza, all of the 73rd Precinct, were on scene.
