Complaint
Description: On June 2, 2020, at approximately 8pm NYPD officers arrested plaintiff on the street in the vicinity of 50 Bond Street in Manhattan. Others, whom the plaintiff was not associated with, were breaking into and burglarizing a store at 25 Bond Street at that time. The plaintiff had not entered 25 Bond Street and the NYPD officers had no probable cause to believe she was affiliated with the others burglarizing the store. The plaintiff was detained for 3 days at the local precinct and prosecuted for burglary, until she was arraigned on June 5, 2020. On August 4, 2021, all charges were dismissed.
