Complaint
Description: On July 3, 2016, Plaintiff Ramon Rodriguez was in a taxi with three others when the taxi was pulled over by Police Officer James Tobin and three other unnamed officers. The officers approached the taxi with guns drawn, and pulled Plaintiff Rodriguez out of the car. HE was then searched intimately in public, including touching his private organs and his buttocks. A different occupant of the vehicle was searched and the police officers found a bag of marijuana. Instead of charging that passenger, the police officers chose to charge Plaintiff Rodriguez with possession of marijuana.
