Description: On or about February 8, 2018, Plaintiff Roberto Lopez-Lopez's brother, Luis Lopez, was shot in the foot. To avoid a negative CompStat statistic, Defendant Captain Dominguez interviewed Plaintiff Lopez-Lopez to coerce Plaintiff to say Luis Lopez shot himself in the foot. When Plaintiff Lopez-Lopez refused, the NYPD suspended Plaintiff's pistol license, ultimately revoking it, and vouchered his firearm. Though Defendants seized Plaintiff's legal firearm, they did not seize Plaintiff's legal ammunition or wooden replica of an antique gun.
