Description: On July 11, 2019, Plaintiff was lawfully present on the sidewalk when Defendant NYPD officers, including Matthew McCurry, Michael Ardolino, Michael LaGattolla, Nicholas Conway, Sergio Castillo, Christian Calvagna, Joshua Navarro, and Michael Hansson unlawfully approached and stopped Plaintiff to question him about an argument he had with his wife several hours before. Defendants then seized and searched Plaintiff, despite lack of reasonable suspicion or probable cause. Plaintiff was accused him of a criminal act and was placed in overly-tight handcuffs, causing injury.
