Complaint
Description: On November 12, 2017, Plaintiff was arrested by NYPD PO Adrian Klusek in Richmond County, New York. Plaintiff had been walking down the sidewalk when he was stopped by NYPD officers. The officers accused Plaintiff of being a perpetrator in an armed robbery. The officers alleged that Plaintiff resembled the perpetrator because he was “dark skinned.” Plaintiff was incarcerated after his arrest and unable to make bail. The DA’s office dropped all charges before taking the case to a grand jury.
