Description: On June 30, 2022, the Plaintiff was at her home in Brooklyn. A family member with a history of violence, Ansila E. Bryant, came to her home, attempted to enter her home, and forcibly pushed the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff punched Bryant in response and went to the precinct to report the incident. At the precinct, the Plaintiff met with an NYPD officer who refused to file a report. The NYPD officer contacted someone via department radio and told the Plaintiff to stay at the precinct. The Plaintiff told the NYPD officer that she had surveillance camera footage of the incident.
