Description: On March 20, 2014, at approximately 8 PM, plaintiff was stopped by defendant police officers as he was watching his friends outside shoot a video in the vicinity of 249 Beach 15th Street in Far Rockaway in Queens. Plaintiff had parked his mother's car outside near where his friends were shooting the video. Defendant police officers in plainclothes saw the group shooting the video; some of the defendants approached the group making the video while another officer approached the plaintiff. Description: On October 31, 2014, plaintiffs Alfredo Marrero, Virginia Velasquez, and S.V were inside an apartment when defendant officers opened the unlocked door and came in without permission or a warrant. They demanded that Marrero exit the apartment. Plainitff Marrero knew the officers because they had stopped and harassed him numerous times before on the street and come to his home. When Mr. Marrero would not come out, the officers entered and began to attack the plaintiffs. Plaintiffs S.V. and Williams were thrown against the wall and choked. Plaintiffs Marrero and Velasquez were punched, kicked and struck with truncheons. Plaintiff Marrero was handcuffed so tightly that he was in-juried and his wrists swelled.

Description: On September 30, 2012, Plaintiff was visiting his daughter when he left for milk. As Plaintiff left the building, Defendant Officer Gunn confronted him about his presence. Though Plaintiff offered legitimate reasons for being there, Defendant Gunn restrained Plaintiff, cuffed him, threw him to the ground and physically assaulted him. Plaintiff was initially taken to the 101st Precinct and booked, but later taken for medical care. Plaintiff experienced a broken nose and teeth, and other injuries. No reference is made to criminal charges.
